i don't believe in god personally, but i still really like this song a lot.
I really enjoy this song because although I once believed in Christianity, I am now an Atheist, and the key line from the lyrics can be interpreted as apostasy rather than affirmation of faith:
Believing in the lie of religion is a burden that was slowly drowning me, and now I am finally free.
This is one great song, it is all about how things of the world weigh us down, but God will pull us up, ring us out, and be with us forever.
