We walked the aisles aimlessly
With our kills painlessly
And we go all the night without love
In the darkened lonely corners
Where we place our drive-thru orders
And we go all the night without love
Without love
"Touch me" the graphic reads
On the magnetic athletic insole
She lets it go all its life without life
And can you imagine going to
“Got milk? dot com”
Do you go all the night without love
Without love
Well I once caused your cells to shimmer
And you once caused my cells to shimmer
Now we go all the night without love
Without love…
With our kills painlessly
And we go all the night without love
In the darkened lonely corners
Where we place our drive-thru orders
And we go all the night without love
Without love
"Touch me" the graphic reads
On the magnetic athletic insole
She lets it go all its life without life
And can you imagine going to
“Got milk? dot com”
Do you go all the night without love
Without love
Well I once caused your cells to shimmer
And you once caused my cells to shimmer
Now we go all the night without love
Without love…

i think its completely chronological. i.e. while you were sleeping is also from before his mother's death
listen to the line about his father's "ill-widowed wife" - thus implying that at that point she was still alive
this is a stunning song. one of my favourites from the record
definately the best dream-folk album of 2007. personally i think elvis perkins and willy mason are so far ahead of anyone else in the singer-songwriter/folk stakes. unless you include dylan, maybe.
i'm seeing him tonight :D
yay!
