Dirty and Left Out Lyrics

Hello, I swear I won’t be to long
Hello, I promise I will be real strong
Wait up I just want to tell you
Hold up why are you still here

I’ve been dirtier than you want to know
I’ve lived dirtier than you’ll ever know

Why do you wanna be all this and into me
Why you stretch your arms and tell me I’m free
Why do you wanna be in my life, in my life

I’ve been dirtier than you want to know
I’ve lived dirtier than you’ll ever know

Jesus, Jesus
There’s something about your name
Master, Savior, Jesus

I’ve been dirtier than you want to know
I’ve lived dirtier than you’ll ever know

Jesus
Jesus

"I've been dirtier than you want to know I've left earlier than youll ever know" I think this bit is about him confessing to Jesus that he's sinned, or confessing to a person that he's sinned

"Why do you want to be all listening to me Why do you spread your arms and tell me I'm free Why do you wanna be in my life, in my life" This is him wondering how he can still be accepted and loved by Jesus after he has sinned so much.

I’m guessing he’s in a confessions booth confessing about his sins - or even praying and asking God questions.. He’s asking God why he is still being forgiving, why he is still a part of his life after all he has done.

im not a christian, but im not an atheist either im a "to each their own" kind of guy. i dont believe in god but i do believe that jesus was a person who loved everyone completely, and people saw him as a magnificent person, and worshiped him. fuck, I probably would have worshiped him.

Consider this from C.S. Lewis' book "Mere Christianity"...

I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic -- on the level with the man who says he is a...

I think owithaslash7 is right, it does remind me of some will seek forgiveness, others escape. Aaron's lyrics are the best that I've ever heard, I hope there will be many more albums written by him still to come!
