this is a great song, sounds like early R.E.M with some New Order! This is about a guy who is getting over his addiction and realising that the love his girlF is showing him has got him over it and he wants to thank her
I think it's about when you'ce had a really crap day and you snap at the person you love. It seems like they've had a big argument and this song is an apology.
great song, everytime im being a bitch i listen to it and it calms me down. Just where he sings 'i love you', so simple but yet it really gets to me
this song makes me feel so much better. after seeing my girlfriend after abit of a rough patch, i dropped her at the station and listend to this track all the way home and understood its meaning.
i think this song is about a fallout between a couple, and they have just made it up to oneanother; when u fall out with the one u love, u cannot stop feeling strange like everything is going wrong. after the fight u realise its all changed, everything is fine again and u start to apreciate what u have.

this song is something i could relate too. My Girlfriend currently suffers from bi-polar disorder (deep moments of depression).
And the whole of this song sounds to me that maybe he did suffer from depression, and it's going through the stages he went through, and that his girlfriend or whoever manage to get there and stay through with him. In the first verse it sounds like he was on drugs too, maybe to help his depression? i'm not sure, they're just suggestions.

Yeah, Ive always really related to this song too, I suffer from depression and when youre in a relationship it put a lot of pressure on it. the way you act isnt pleasant and us understanding as my boyfriend is it can be difficult to cope with sometimes. I think thats what he saying at the start, that he understands its hard for her having to deal with his mood. and at the end when he says hes happy to feel better and hes much more optomistic but hes warey that hes still going to have bad days.
Thats the meaning I've always took anyway, and I cant wait til I feel like hes feeling so I can thank the people that have helped me. If that is the meaning and hes written it based on his own experiences then I think its a really lovely way to thank someone.

I think this is him finally getting over the negative effects of the drugs... but he's still a bit uncertain whether or not these problems will creep back up on him as he says, "I THINK that shit was just a phase".
He also says that he was "getting paraniod about the silliest of things" and "feeling rough", which are negative effects of using drugs too much, especially marijuana.

Sometimes facing all of these drug related problems by yourself feels incredibly overwhelming, and it's really nice to know that you've got someone to talk to about these problems...
