He's overcome by this overwhelming love, which is both fulfilling and destroying him at the same time. It's running through his veins (a drug?) As this is a trance song I would strongly suggest the drug theme as lyrical motivation. Anyway, beautiful song and something which captures the emotion of what it's like to be someone who is obsessed with something they shouldn't be doing or having.
I have a feeling this song is about alcohol or drug addiction.
