I feel like he is talking about a break up with a girlfriend. It sounds like the relationship has been dry and over for a while. He doesn't understand why she can't realize it, and she won't admit that anything is wrong.

i know haste lost a vocalist, but did they lose that badass screamer they had for the first 2 cds or did they lose the singer? because the screams in this song sound nothing like the screams on burning bridges which is disappointing..

aside from that, its a good song with a good chorus.

well, I know that a white collar crime is like a crime that a person of high status commits that has to do with his occupation. Or something like that. I read it on wikipedia.

i think its about realizing your sinning and getting rid of who/what makes you sin. hence the lines "You watched me follow fools to the sea. Tie the stones that bring me down below the tide." and him say get out of his life

Having recently been able to relate to this song in a big way, this is what i think...

I think the song is about two people entering into a relationship, both wanting and commiting themselves to what they thought would be amazing but since getting into it, the other person had other expectations

He wants to know why she can't feel and see what he sees, even though she said she did, The last line I think is about them trying to figure it out together and not getting anywhere.

The Chorus says it all."You Shut me out, I just don’t want to feel it anymore" He is done with trying to help her find herself and tired of waiting. This line I think encompasses the song entirely "You watched me follow fools to the sea. Tie the stones that bring me down below the tide.Down and down". In this line he is saying that she stood by and watch him make mistakes and say things that further made him dig his grave. In closing, this is about a guy who felt so strongly about a girl who said she felt the same for him, but when it came to the crunch she changed her mind, he tried to help her but he just ended up making things worse. When it all finished he felt like it was all a waste, and he finally got sick of her because she "shut him out" and he says he is done with it.

this song is not about a relationship or a girl or anything like that. Haste The Day is a Christian band and they write music to glorify God and to speak of their personal walks with Christ. I think Screamline pretty much got it
