Free to turn away (say goodbye!)
Free to walk away (and deny!)
"God is waiting for you", whispers the still small voice
It's your choice
You're free, free, free, free
Free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny, free, free, free
Free to do what you want to
Free to open up (and believe!)
Free to open eyes (and be seen!)
There's no better time than now, you've got the right to choose
You can't lose
You're free, free, free, free
Free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny, free, free, free
Free to do what you want to
Free, free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny
free to do what you want to
Free, free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny
free to do what you want to
Free to walk away (and deny!)
It's your choice
Free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny, free, free, free
Free to do what you want to
Free to open eyes (and be seen!)
You can't lose
Free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny, free, free, free
Free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny
free to do what you want to
Choose your own destiny
free to do what you want to

KARMA CHAMELON IS MY FAVOURITE CULTURE CLUB SONG!!
This is such a great song. The music is fantastic. I love Robert Sweet's opening drum fill. The lyrics represent a side of Christianity that has been lost over the years. They are not "preaching" in this song, nor are they offering judgment on anyone or anything. It's a celebration of the freedom that God has given everyone to believe in, or deny, his/her existence. They capture the joy that can come from accepting there is a higher power and the realization that God is not here to restrict or punish us but to free us from the mental and physical bondage we place on ourselves.
I hate this song, and I figured you should too.
Actually I Think this is a really good song, I mean, We're free to do whatever we want to, but we must be awared of the possible consequences, either good or bad.
