To The Engravers Lyrics
Deep in a headphone head lock
My head down, hood up
And I’ll Scrunch my fists, tuck ‘em in my pockets, forget about face ‘cuz I know I’ve lost it
“Giving blood” to cool out and cheer up.
Deep in a headphone head lock
My head down, hood up
Every inch of me ready to fight
My head, gut, arms and legs
Are gunning for the chance to break
But my heart stays cool, my heart stays cool
As air is engraved by hand
It all flies by the van
It all flies by
They can’t take the summer away
Scrunch my fists, tuck ‘em in my pockets, scrunch my fists tuck ‘em in my pockets
My head down, hood up
And I’ll Scrunch my fists, tuck ‘em in my pockets, forget about face ‘cuz I know I’ve lost it
“Giving blood” to cool out and cheer up.
Deep in a headphone head lock
My head down, hood up
My head, gut, arms and legs
Are gunning for the chance to break
But my heart stays cool, my heart stays cool
As air is engraved by hand
It all flies by the van
It all flies by
Scrunch my fists, tuck ‘em in my pockets, scrunch my fists tuck ‘em in my pockets

first off this song is amazing. i am starting to really get into this band. i think its a lot of being angry and in a bad mood with the whole "hood up head down" mood. then its sort of just how the singer feels like his body is calm but ready to go crazy...
i am bad at this shit... i love the line "they can't take the summer away"
sounds like a kid who's throwing a fit because he won't get his way.
