You'll Find A way Lyrics

Go ahead, you know you want it
You'll have no other way
You just want to take us down
Go ahead, I'll be the one hit
If I can take you, boy
It just might throw this town

Oh oh oh oh, you want to get it
You make us bleed, it'll prove there's life somewhere
And oh no oh oh, I want to yell it
But do we speak or are we just nodding our heads?

No way, not me
What you got, it's not for me
But you'll find a way
No way, not me
What you got, it's not for me

Don't reach too far
You will fall over
Don't be surprised what you discover
Don't fear your call
Can't pull us under
You better watch out, run for cover

Don't reach too far
(We see right through it)
You will fall over
Don't be surprised what you discover
(We get what you get)
Don't fear your call
Can't pull us under
(We get what you get)
You better watch out, run for cover

Go ahead, I'll be your junkie
I'll be deplete
You can heap all rubbish here
Go ahead, now dump it on me
If I go quiet
Will the itch go down with me?

Oh oh oh oh, you got to get it
Never mind that it was never there nowhere
But oh no oh oh, not for a minute
For now you'll make your bed and it will wait, I swear

No way, not me
What you got, it's not for me
But you'll find a way
No way, not me
What you got, it's not for me

Don't reach too far
You will fall over
Don't be surprised what you discover
Don't fear your call
Can't pull us under
You better watch out, run for cover

Don't reach too far
(We see right through it)
You will fall over
Don't be surprised what you discover
(We get what you get)
Don't fear your call
Can't pull us under
(We get what you get)
You better watch out, run for cover

Tell them that they'll get what they wanted, tell them
Tell them that they'll get what they wanted
'Til then...
Tell them that they'll get what they wanted, tell them
Tell them that they'll get what they wanted
'Til then...

Don't reach too far
You will fall over
Don't be surprised what you discover
Don't fear your call
Can't pull us under
You better watch out, run for cover

Don't reach too far
(We see right through it)
You will fall over
Don't be surprised what you discover
(We get what you get)
Don't fear your call
Can't pull us under
(We get what you get)
You better watch out, run for cover

lots of drug references... nodding, junkie, the itch... sounds like opiates to me! and yeah, i think shes saying youll do whatever you wanna do, ill do whatever i wanna do, you be f*ckin careful!

apparently its about her dad who died in 2004 he died before he could clear his name of bribing or something

Yeah that's the most rational explanation here.

I love this song, for me it means in a way that be careful in what you do.what do you think?

I feel that this amazing song truly centers upon the conflict between the speaker and someone who uses people for their own advantage and drops them quickly, something probably relatively common in the music industry. The haunting quality of the music itself helps to validate this interpretation of the lyrics, as the song kinda seems like a vodoo-warning call. The first stanza illustrates this view of the song by describing the speaker as someone about to be hit, about to be used, but that the speaker wants to yell and speak out against it. The second stanza...

or...she might become his drug. that's how i look at it anyways.

I love the remix of this song which brought me to love the original. They sound like totally different song! :)

But anyway, at first, I thought this may have been about someone trying to have sex with her and she doesn't want it, but if he wants it bad enough, he'll find a way to have sex.

But after reading y'all's comments and reading the lyrics more carefully, I'm beginning to think about the drug thing. Maybe she's talking to a druggie who does anything to get his fix and maybe she's accepting the fact that she can't stop him from getting his fix and helps him but he needs to be careful.

I also like how she says "You'll make your bed and it will wait, I swear". It took me a bit to get it, but I think its in reference to the "so you make your bed, so you will lie in it" meaning all he's doing is setting him up for something really bad in the end. The bad thing is waiting for him.

Also like that "tell them that they get they wanted..." kind of sounds like she just gave up on trying to stop the druggie.

So, this song was posted on an ex's page a few days after we broke up. I thought it was just because of Entourage, but I know he is very in depth with song meanings. I recently found out he dabbles into drugs, and found this song hurtful like he was trying to tell me "no way not me." He basically said he could not be what I wanted, and he was not ready for something so serious. We got in huge fights about his boys...people he thinks are his boys (who call me to this day and I know they are not merely looking for a friendship). I tried to warn him but he gets so defensive about them...like I am trying to hurt him by saying that. I was wondering if anyone had any clue as to why he would post this?? What does this song mean?? As for him, we have no communication whatsoever...I cut all ties imaginable!

i really love when someone makes an interpretation that is completely personal and no one has any idea what to say in response. sorry not really interested in your love life =]

anywhooooo love this song. i think that the drug references aren't necessarily about drugs themselves but rather to the way he (or whoever she is talking to in the song) approaches relationships. like yeah, good for you if its what gets you off but its not for me so don't try to use me like a drug anymore.

sorry if that doesnt make any senseeeee. just my take.

SHUT UP! Please
