The 80's Song Lyrics

I've been up at this all night long
I've been
drowning in my sleep
I've prayed for your safe
place
And its time for us to leave

Time is running,
is running on empty and the gas is running out
I've
decided that tonight is the night
That I set love
aside
Speed ahead this seems to be the place
I've
seen this once before
Planned perfection sought in my
dreams
Hoping this would take you home

My knuckles
have turned to white
There's no turning back
tonight
So kiss me one last time

Around this turn
where the cross will cast your shadow
The people will all
gather
To remember such a day where the flames grew as high
as trees
And the world stopped for you and me

My
knuckles have turned white
There's no turning back
tonight
Kiss me one last time
Shut your eyes

My
knuckles have turned white
There's no turning back
tonight
Kiss me one last time
Shut your eyes

I
will now bring new meaning to the word alone
Endless nights
of dreaming of life
And the days we should have spent
here

Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my
sleep
Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my
sleep

Glass shatters and comes to a halt(Drowning in my
sleep I'm drowning in my sleep)
I thought we'd be
there by now(Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my
sleep)
I thought it would be so much quicker than
this(Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my
sleep)

Pain has never been so brilliant(Drowning in my
sleep I'm drowning in my sleep)
I made sure you were
buckled in(Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my
sleep)
Now you can walk hand in hand, hand in hand with
him(Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my
sleep)

My knuckles have turned white
There's
no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
Shut your
eyes

My knuckles have turned white
There's no
turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
Shut your
eyes

Sorry to tell you but this song is indeed called 'The 80's song'. Its a bonus track from "They Are Only Chasing Safety" Bonus Edition. To my knowledge it is exactly the same as "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door" except the choir part has a sort of harmony.

Oh by the way, the DVD features on the Bonus disc are pretty interesting and well worth a look

Um...clasicdisaster17, you're an idiot. It is called "The 80's Song" and it is a demo that came from the bonus edition of "They're Only Chasing Safety". It's the title of the song before it became "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door". Anyway...about the song...it's amazing, no matter what the hell they call it.

The name of the song comes from The lord of the rings when Bilbo says it in the fellowship of the ring

actually its from the Hobbit. I love this song and "Its Dangerous Business..."

i found 1 difference when playing with sub-woofers Walking out your front door only has a minor bass but with the 80's song recording 0:16-0:45 is spewing with bass it's magical.

otherwise they both same like the same great song.
