The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
You keep coming back for more
I got demons that the lust won't hold
You can shake me
You can break me
I'll just keep swinging till the lightning strikes me
Come on and take me
You know you hate me
I'll play you crush me with your veins around me
Yeah
It’s you
Only you
You can’t kill me
I hand you my gun
My bullets intended for me
It’s you
Only you
You can’t thrill me
And I'll write you, my only song
Till I'm gone
It’s the thrill of the kill
The thrill of the kill
That brings me to your knees
The thrill of the kill
The thrill of the kill
It’s the thrill of the kill
And it brings me to that dirty door,
that keeps me screaming back for more
I'll arrest the common cold
I'll cough it up into a cell of gold
And it can shake me
It can break me
I’ll just keep swinging till the lightning strikes me
Come on and take me
You know you hate me
I’ll play you crush me with your veins around me
Yeah
It’s you
Only you
You can’t kill me
I hand you my gun
My bullets intended for me
Its you
Only you
You can’t thrill me
And I'll write you, my only song
Till I'm gone
It’s the thrill of the kill
The thrill of the kill

The thrill of the kill
The thrill of the kill

And it brings me to that dirty door,
that keeps me screaming back for more
It’s you,

So, I think those are all the correct lyrics. It's all by ear, so yeah.
I love this song though, Dark Room is awesome.
