6 is the number of incompletion, it is associated with satan and all things evil. 7 is the number of completion or pefection, it is associated with God.
i don't know so much if it's about the end of the world, as just about how powerful God is, more of a worship song.

well honestly, sice this is a christian band and all, i thought this song was about the rapture or apoclypse because it says The sky falls down at your command The city will roar with the sound of terror And our world will crumble At the sound of your voice So take my words, it's not my choice" that to me just screams God and the end of the world and anyway, God is the only one who can make the world crumble at the sound of his voice.

Yeah. This song is about the end of the world. I saw them two hours ago and Nick bluntly said, "We're gonna play a song about the end of the world. Why Is 6 Afraid Of 7."
