To me this song means that in the world now days, people try to be like others in order to fit in. But considering thats not who you really are. You have "faded into someone you don't wanna be." So you should just continue to follow Gods lead & live life by his word & wonderous things can happen!
to me this sounds like a stupid manipulating boyfrannn. yah, i dont know how to spell manipulating. he wants her to be perfect to show off to his friends. she cant be herself around him. i personally havent felt this all my ex-boyfrannns are really cool and still close friends. but i could see how it could be really annoying.
