Yes, but the lyrics on their site are a little 'dodgy'

That is exactly what I posted above, from the web site... There was no need to post the entire thing again, could have just said I'm right. And if this example is the norm, I don't see anything 'dodgy'.

When I saw Within Temptation live a few days ago, Sharon mentioned how a lot of their lyrics are inspired by movies. She said that this song was inspired by Braveheart.

I love after the first singing of the chorus Sharon's voice mixed in with the music, she's saying "Open Up Your Eyes" and something else. Whatever it is, sounds great. ^^

Sharon said live that its about William Wallace and Braveheart. Its one of my least favourite tracks off the album.

I absolutely love the way she sings the verses.

I kind of think it's about facing death and moving on. I get that maybe she's not human too. I think the heart of everything is death.
