pretty sure the last line means that Beth stole a cab from Seth....two loveless souls, completely unaware
catchy as all hell, that's for sure
Two lonely people in much the same situation: lives stuck in neutral. They tell themselves "it'll happen" soon. There's the perfect opportunity to meet cute, but whether because of the lives they lead, the people they are, or most likely the culture we all live in, they just drift right by each other.

This song makes fun of people that think they're great, but are really assholes and therefore nobody likes them.

kind of funny. they're both lonely souls who lead mundane lives and there's hope that they might find somebody. but turns out that when they finally cross paths, they don't even notice eachother. it's funny to me because i expected them to meet in the last verse.. but they didn't =) FoW's creativity for you.
i love this song. FoW is so underrated and all theyre credited for is those guys that sang stacey's mom....this song has been stuck in my head ever since it came out
I can't believe I just heard this song. I really am a huge FoW fan and I can't find the rest of the songs from their album on the internet. But this song in particular is great. I love the pop-culture and witty lyrics from these guys mixed with the addictive catchty rhythms and melodies.
