Blood Money Lyrics

This is my route home. The curtain falls just behind me. I thought I was alone, until I felt wings of pain wrapped around me. I just thought you were walking the same way as me. I guess I was wrong; you had left your heart your heart at home but bought your gun.

I didn't think you could pull a stunt like that.

Leave my hands untied but blindfold me to hide your eyes. When I see your smile, a sickened man begins to cry. Lock up all your doors. Revenge never looked so good before. It's time to roll the dice to see if you're out of luck tonight.

I didn't think you could pull a stunt like that.
I didn't think you would pull a stunt like that.

All the walls are red, when I want them white. Now the blood's gone cold, but you wouldn't know.

I didn't think you could pull a stunt like that over me.

Saw this guy live. It was one of the most amazing nights of my life. I think this song is about a man being in love(obviously) but the woman is maybe abit of a 'player'? SUCH a beautiful songx

i think its about someone loving another, but not being able to tell them, cause 'they left their heart at home' it could be another person to take their place, or just the pure fact that they arn't interested.

amazing song, agreed.

this song paints the image of a man and a women in a relationship. almost like a gold digger relationship. the girl plays a long with love, and then betrays him by pulling a stunt that he didn't think she was capable of doing. it's an amazing piece of work, one of my favourites.

i think soarchyourbackx 's lyrics are much more accurate especially "the curtain falls just behind me" to me this ties in with the chorus, "i didn't think you could; pull a stunt like that" it almost sounds like hes talking about fame and maybe hes talking about like being a famous artist and having girls that only like him for his fame...not himself like a stroy of somebody loving you for what you do, not who you are

and also "roll the dice to see if you're out of luck tonight" love is a gamble... thats how i interpreted it though

can somebody tell me what they think "the bloods gone cold" means coz i didnt understand that part... cheers

soarchyourbackx 's lyrics are the correct lyrics. you can tell just by listening to the song.

read the lyrics really closely. to me it's about being hurt, but being hurt intentionally. "revenge never looked so good before" to me, this seems like he's done something before and this other person is seeking revenge.

"i just thought you were walking the same way as me" being oblivious to this happening?

i don't know, but i think it's about being intentionally hurt.

"the blood's gone cold but you wouldn't know" to me, it's as if this person's committed some sort of murder. yeah okay, kinda stupid and obvious. but when you read the lyrics, it really does sound like a torture and murder.

i agree with heroinexcore, I am pretty sure that it sings about murder, obviously... But more like murder through love. One thing that has always bugged me was who pulled this stunt over him? I can't figure out if it is some fan, An ex, Or someone he is currently with, probably no one i know i just kinda want to be sure i guess. "The bloods gone cold but you would'nt know"...? To me it's sounds as if the girl didn't stay long enough to see what has become of him. I have to aggree with everyone that this is truely one great piece of art!
