A great song of closure. I think she's forgiving a person/relationship that ended due to growth complications. They were on their journey for only a short time until they had to grow different ways.
I think the voice of this song used to be very selfish in her past relationships. She grew a lot from this other person now and she wants them to know that through it all, she still has love for him...
