Survivalism Lyrics

I should have listened to her
So hard to keep control
We kept on eating but our
Bloated bellies still not full
She gave us all she had but
We went and took some more
Can't seem to shut her legs our
Mother Nature is a whore

I got my propaganda I got revisionism
I got my violence in high def ultra-realism
All a part of this great nation
I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism

Hypnotic sound of sirens
Echoing through the street
The cocking of the rifles
The marching of the feet
You see your world on fire
Don't try to act surprised
We did just what you told us
Lost our faith along the way and found ourselves believing your lies

I got my propaganda I got revisionism
I got my violence in high def ultra-realism
All a part of this great nation
I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism

All bruised and broken, bleeding
She asks to take my hand
I turn and keep on walking
What you'd do the same thing in the circumstance I'm sure you understand

I got my propaganda I got revisionism
I got my violence in high-def ultra-realism
All a part of this great nation
I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism

ah this is about a rebel who bitched out on the other one and left her for dead.

or it could be how cutthroat the world is that the "everyman for himself" mode kicks in, Survivalism skills.

@slevlette you are so wrong. It isn't even talking about a person when he says her. The opening verse ends after all the references to her as: our mother nature. Our nature is "her" a whore.

Cjscott 24 is way wrong at least some what way wrong, he is to focused on the here and the now. This song is about the increasing aggression that people have toward each other and the mind set of survivalism that sets in as a result. The problem adressed in this song is bigger than Bush(though many of you out there would probably disagree with me) it is the media which (being an American and seeing this thing split up my country) I feel is all to tragically true. The media is breeding hate between two political parties that where meant to promote a sort of philisophical and political ballance to each other. In short the media is responsible for cultivating a culture of survivalism where each person either conservative or liberal is under so much attack that he/she revert to animalist instincts and try to destroy each other.

This song rocks, but I'm wondering if the lyrics have to with the conspiracy-futuristic stuff that Trent's got get set up.

I should have listened to her So hard to keep control We kept on eating but Our bloated belly's still not full She gave us all she had but We went and took some more Can't seem to shut her legs Our mother nature is a whore

*About human beings destroying the planet from eco destruction and wastage through gluttony and materialism.

I got my propaganda I got revisionism I got my violence In hi-def ultra-realism All a part of this great nation I got my fist I got my plan I got survivalism

*In my opinion sounds like TV and it's effects on people with the herd mentality. Yet it is culturally exceptable whilst at the same time we are being dumbed down by it.

Hypnotic sound of sirens Echoing through the street The cocking of the rifles The marching of the feet You see your world on fire Don't try to act surprised We did just what you told us Lost our faith along the way and found ourselves believing your lies

*Refers to last one a culture so brainwashed by TV and media that when the world burns around them they have to face the lies that politicians have been saying for years. Only at that time do the people reclaim there free will.

All bruised and broken, bleeding She asked to take my hand I turned, just keep on walking But you'd do the same thing in the circumstance I'm sure you'll understand

*Think Trent is referencing those brainwashed people that still refuse to accept what is happening at this point the individuals psyche turns to an animal like survival instinct of himself/herself at any cost and refuses to see others.
