Today I found a baby's glove

"Glove" is probably a simple metaphore for an obsession that faris has;one that is hard tto resist on that he counld take anymore so he left maybe it might be about someone he like or dated.she stared out like a simple girl taen mored to a treat he couldn't take.Or it could just be talking about his glove obssession (to weak to be true)

I heard - it may not be true - that Faris was collecting gloves he found on the street for an art project, but got obsessed with it after a while and just started picking them up and keeping them, not for the project. But I may be wrong.
Um, Faris is obsessed with gloves?! I think.
I've only just discovered this band, and this is the first song I heard. I was just on some music site - I can't remember which one - randomly watching stuff because I was bored when I came across The Horrors. Their style, to me, is very original. Well, I like The Horrors. :]
I don't know what it means, but this song is crazy. The last part disturbs me. It's like a descent into madness. I like it.

You always see abandoned gloves on the pavement and I used to collect them, label them with the location and time that I found them and put them in plastic bags. I'm sure that some of them had fleas. But I'd imagine stories of who they belonged to. In the end I threw them away because they started to freak me out."

my second fav horros song ever i love the video but i would have liked it better if it had sumthing to do with the meaning of the song i love the ending of this song when faris is talking it always makes me shiver this would be a great short film or sumthing all the horrors songs have some sort of creepy story i freaking love the horrors
he,he,he i love this song. i really don't think there is some big meaning behind it - its just Faris's obsession with collecting found gloves. I think the bit about collarbone crushing is about a dream he had about them, the gloves trying to kill him, and he threw them out shortly afterwards. oh so awesome.
erm.. i was listening to the album version of this song and i think these lyrics are wrong.... im sure he said from the slim fingerd hand of a women also he says and twisted on a kerb and couldnt take it then lines 12 to "and through wax seals and padlocks" isnt there , i duno if u have the american version or maybe the demo one, but i got the album and the lyrics are completly different
