Beautiful Disaster Lyrics

she loves her momma's lemonade
hates the sounds that goodbyes make
she prays one day she'll find someone to need her
she swears there's no difference between the lies and compliments
it's all the same if everybody leaves her

and all the magazines tells her she's not good enough
the pictures that she sees makes her cry

she would change everything, everything, just ask her
caught in the in between of beautiful disaster
she just needs someone to take her home

she's giving boys what they want
trying to act so nonchalant
afraid to see that she's lost her direction
she never stays the same for long
assuming that she'll get it wrong
perfect only in her imperfection

she's not a drama queen
she doesn't wanna feel this way
only 17 and tired, yeah

she would change everything for happy ever after
caught in the in between of beautiful disaster
she just needs someone to take her home

she's just the way she is
but no one's told her that's okay

she would change everything, everything, just ask her
caught in the in between of beautiful disaster

she would change everything for happy ever after
caught in the in between of beautiful disaster
she just needs someone to take her home
she just needs someone to take her home

I love this song! I think it's about a girl that just feels lost and confused but she doesn't want to feel that way but she just can't help it.

This song is amazing. I definitely agree that it's about a girl who is lost and looking for something more meaningful. She tries to hide the fact that she feels so alone.

its about a girl who wants to belong, and have a home. but no matter what she does, no one stays with her. shes still young, and thinks that maybe she's just not good enough, and if she was prettier, people would like her. if she "gave the boys what they want," she'll be loved. She doesnt want to complain, but she's so lost. I dont think she wants to accept the fact that her life is a disaster at this point. In trying to become beautiful, she became a disaster. But what she doesnt understand, is that being herself is okay.

this song is about a girl who has felt rejected or let down by most everyone in her life. maybe her parents or friends. no one sticks around. and she blames herself thinking there's something wrong with her that makes people leave. she never trusts anyone, yet she needs to be wanted. she'll change herself and do anything to feel loved, even if it means leaving her true self behind. she hooks up with a lot of guys and pretends not to care when she actually does. she's lost herself and someone needs to take her home back to who she really is. because what she doesn't know, is she's perfect just the way she is. she did not make the other people leave her.

wow i reread that and i feel like it will only make sense to me. sorry.

no, that actually made perfect sense, like kristaselene said.

I think your comment made perfect sense, KNHUTC. I agree with what you said! But it does say in the beginning 'she loves her momma's lemonaide'... so its not her parents that have let her down. I think its more a battle between the girl and the guys she associates with to make her feel complete.

She is beautiful on the outside but a disaster on the inside. She's insecure from all the magazines and thinks that sleeping around will make the guys want her (like so many young girls). Sometimes with good looks comes a lot of pain. She has a lot of men that take her out but she needs that one special person to 'take her home.'

She'd give up everything for happy ever after... She wants love not lust (even if it means sacraficing her beauty).
