Delicious duet between Tara (Amber Benson drools) and Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) that blends both of their voices beautifully. Though Anthony has got the professional singing chops (he used to play Dr Frank N'Furter in The Rocky Horror Show), Amber more than holds her own in this mournfull little tune, creating an air of both mystery and sadness.
Probably my favorite part of the episode. I love songs in which two singers sing different parts at the same time. ASH and Amber Benson both have extraordinary voices and they surprisingly compliment each other well. It breaks my heart when Tara's song of love turns sorrowfully into a song of betrayal. Both her and Giles have no other choice but to hurt themselves by doing what's best for the one they love.
Don't you just love this part? Especially when Amber stretches out the last word of the Under Your Spell Reprise and when Anthony comes in! It's great!! :D
I think Tara and Giles were the better singers in this episode... I love how they fit together here... :D
