The original inspiration for this song came from the fantastic Ellis Paul song "Mrs. Jones" ... I borrowed the idea of the line "Hover over me" for my own because I felt the need to put my own two cents in and wanted to continue the story for myself. The personal meaning of the song, and who it's directed toward is for several people that have come and gone in my life. I like to think they're still around watching over me.
