This song has gone under so many changes through the years. When I used it for "Say" I had already changed the music twice, the lyrics remained the same. When I did the Audience of Zero album, I slowed it down dramatically just to turn the tides one more time. Specifically, I met this girl on a Sunday (the sudden wave after a Saturday) ... the sudden wave is everything that came after we met. She was the high school first love that everyone goes through. I was 17, YIKES.. I'm getting old...
