I think this song is pretty straight forward in saying that it's unfair and foolish to judge others without really getting to know them.
I think this songs mean its hurtful and rude and unfair judging people by stereotyping them that you don't know and Only by appearance. And making rumors about of what they are and what they do from what they look.
