G.I.N.A.S.F.S. Lyrics
I've loved everything about you that hurts, so
Let me see your moves,
Let me see your moves
Lips pressed this close to mine,
True Blue
But the prince of any failing empire knows that
Everybody wants, everybody wants
To drive on through the night
If it's a drive back home
Things aren't the same anymore
Some nights, they get so bad
You almost pick up the phone
Trade baby blues for wide eyed browns
I sleep with your old shirts
And walk through this house in your shoes,
You know it's strange
It's a strange way of saying,
I'm supposed to love you
I'm supposed to love you
I've already given up on myself twice
Third time is the charm, third time is the charm
Threw caution to the wind
But I've got a lousy arm
And I've traced your shadows on the wall
Now I kiss them whenever I'm down
Whenever I'm down
Figured on not figuring myself out
Things aren't the same anymore
Some nights, they get so bad
I almost pick up the phone
Trade baby blues for wide eyed browns
I sleep with your old shirts
And walk through this house in your shoes,
You know it's strange
It's a strange way of saying
That I know I'm supposed to love you
I'm supposed to love you
Born under a bad sign, but you saved my life
That night on the roof of your hotel
"Cross my heart and hope to die
Splintered from the headboard in my eye"
Photo-proofed kisses I remembered so well
Trade baby blues for wide eyed browns
I sleep with your old shirts
And walk through this house in your shoes,
You know it's strange
It's a strange way of saying
That I know I'm supposed to love you
I'm supposed to love you
Now press repeat
Let me see your moves,
Let me see your moves
Lips pressed this close to mine,
True Blue
Everybody wants, everybody wants
To drive on through the night
If it's a drive back home
Some nights, they get so bad
You almost pick up the phone
I sleep with your old shirts
And walk through this house in your shoes,
You know it's strange
It's a strange way of saying,

Third time is the charm, third time is the charm
Threw caution to the wind
But I've got a lousy arm
Now I kiss them whenever I'm down
Whenever I'm down
Figured on not figuring myself out
Some nights, they get so bad
I almost pick up the phone
I sleep with your old shirts
And walk through this house in your shoes,

"gay is not a synonym for shitty. if you wanna say something is shitty, say its shitty. stop being such homophobic assholes" ~ The Great Pete Wentz
i would think that g i n a s f s stands for "gay is not a synonym for stupid" as peter said it in a q&a a while ago.
it means "gay is not a synonym for stupid"
fall out boy's been trying to demonstrate tolerance for homosexuality rumors have been made that Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump are bisexual it's a love song two and two together = this is a love song about another guy
Gr8 song G.I.N.A.S.F.S means Gay Is Not A Symptom For Stupid ~ trust me it's on grooveshark listen.grooveshark.com
This song is from the perspective of a gay guy who broke up with his boyfriend. It's not that hard to understand fall out boy lyrics, it's just easy to get caught up in finding secret meanings (which, don't get me wrong, there always are). But I do think it's biased to always assume a song is about a heterosexual breakup. "Trade baby blues for wide-eyed browns": the old partner had blue eyes, the new one has brown. "I sleep in your old shirts" (literally) "and walk through this house in your shoes": he tries to look at the old relationship as his old partner saw it. "It's a strange way of saying that I know I'm supposed to love you": he knows he's in love with his old partner because they're so great together, but they have so damn many problems they decided to call it quits. I think John Mayer's "Comfortable" parallels with this song.
i love the theory that this is a song about the contrast between pete's relations between patrick and between mikey way. "true blue" was pete's nickname for patrick on his livejournal while mikey was describes as having "the brownest eyes [pete's] ever seen." pete wentz's lyricism is just constantly heart wrenching. in this song, he captures that tight, cold feeling you get in your lungs when you think about love. if the livejournals are to be trusted, patrick was just a friend who wasn't supposed to be anything more while mikey was a one-sided soulmate situation. i adore this song and pete's way with words. all of you should look into the summer of like situation and then revisit all of infinity on high, fourth of july, and twin skeletons.

Gay Is Not A Synonym For Shitty!
is it really gay is not a synonym for shitty?
No, it's really "Gay Is Not A Substitute For Shit"
No, it's really "Gay Is Not A Substitute For Shit"
No it's definitely 'Gay Is Not A Synonym For Shitty'. Makes sense really.
"Oh, that's gay" doesn't mean "That's homosexual" nowadays does it?
I also believe this song was once called True Blue, although I can't prove it :)
this song could possibly be one of the best fob songs ever... extremely well written
