Hazelville Lyrics
Surely someone will see
All these lines in between?
Surely someone will know
All these lines as they grow?
Palest white fingertips
Into some deeper hole I dip
Anda s the black fades to white
Slows the sun's heavy gentle flight
Couldn't let your broken voice speak
Couldn't let it into your life. Oh, no.
You couldn't let your broken voice speak, oh, no.
Forget it ever entered your life. Oh, no.
Oh, no.
You never let your broken voice speak
Oh, no.
Forget it ever entered your life.
All these lines in between?
Surely someone will know
All these lines as they grow?
Into some deeper hole I dip
Anda s the black fades to white
Slows the sun's heavy gentle flight
Couldn't let it into your life. Oh, no.
You couldn't let your broken voice speak, oh, no.
Forget it ever entered your life. Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Forget it ever entered your life.

I can't believe noone has commented on this band. The lyrics are amazing, the music moving, the voices beautiful. I bloody love this band!!
This opening track on the album sums them up, uplifting, powerful guitar pop laced with a real sense of style and originality.
Sorry to bang on, but I'm afraid I can't really say too much about the song's meaning, seems to have lots of negative connotations but the sound suggests otherwise - it's a gorgeous, roaring number. Seriously people (if anyone EVER reads this lol) track this band down!
I agree, this song is amazing! Very uplifting but the lyrics do seem to point towards feeling isolated from something/someone. Then towards the end it's as if the speaker is more accusative.
Any thoughts on the title Hazelville?
