This Kind of Love

I recently talked to a friend about how so little music these days speaks to those moments in life when things are actually going well in a relationship. Here is a song which, though simplistic and full of cliches, seems to convey unqualified and sincere happiness.

I agree with jakemack, this song is great to explain the happiness that love brings. This is a beautiful song.

I think is great about this song is it doesn't specify what kind of love it is. He could be talking to his significant other, his family, or his best friend. Me personally, when I hear this song I think of my best friend. She is incredible and is always there for me, even when I don't deserve it. That is one of the greatest kinds of love.

To me, This man I was seeing who is twice my age tried playing this song for me and he was such a dog so this song gives me a bad taste in my mouth. I still try to be his friend but it’s hard. He still messing around with his older lady back where he lives in Florida he thinks I don’t know anyway, to me it’s kind of about immaturity in a way. Because in the beginning of every relationship everyone thinks this very thing. Every single relationship in the beginning feels this way it is when this feeling goes away that the real relationship starts so to me this is a very immature song for kids and I couldn’t believe he was playing this song this man is in his 50s so it was a big turn off for me I am 30 about to be 31 at the time I was 27. What’s worse is I am the same age as his daughter pretty much it just kind of didn’t sit right with me. Anyway that’s my two cents worth. I’m still his friend but I am not attracted to him in anyway shape or form any longer I have moved on
