Come Home Lyrics

I've gotta raise some money
I'm gonna hit the road
I've gotta get out of this house
I'm so misunderstood
Just working for a pay check
Not building friendships
Well that works for some
I guess that that's the way that life is
Sometimes we regret the things that we say
And the relationships we build
We just throw them away
For just nothing at all
For just a pile of bills
And you still remain like a picture

Still in my mind
I can't remember why I even left in the first place
Still in my mind
Your song echoes in my head and all I hear is...

Come home
Doesn't sound so bad
So come home
Doesn't sound so bad, sound so bad, Sometimes
Come home
Doesn't sound so bad, sound so bad
Sometimes

I've gotta raise some money
I'm gonna hit the road
I've gotta get out of this house
I'm misunderstood
Just working for a pay check
Not building friendships
Well that works for some
I guess that that's the way that life is
Sometimes we regret the things that we say
And the relationships we build
We just throw them away
For just nothing at all
For just a pile of bills
And you still remain like a picture

Still in my mind
I can't remember why I even left in the first place
Still in my mind
Your song echoes in my head and all I hear is...

Come home
Doesn't sounds so bad
So come home
It doesn't sound so bad, sound so bad
Sometimes

I'll write home every day
I'll call you on the phone just to hear you say
I love you, I miss you
Come home soon
And I'll be waiting when you return

Cover art for Come Home lyrics by Owen Pye

this song is great...i'd say that its about him leaving a town or something that he hated but then once he left he realized that it wasn't that bad and maybe he left a girl behind in said town.
