Can't Get It out of My Head Lyrics

Midnight, on the water,
I saw the ocean's daughter,
Walking on the wave's chicane,
Staring as she called my name.

Chorus
And i can't get it out of my head,
No, i can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
'cause i can't get it out of my head.

Breakdown, on the shoreline,
Can't move, it's an ebbtide,
Morning don't get here tonight,
Searching for her silver light.

Chorus
And i can't get it out of my head,
No, i can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
'cause i can't get it out of my head.

Bank job, in the city,
Robin hood and william tell and
Ivanhoe and lancelot,
They don't envy me,
Sitting 'til the sun goes down,
In dreams the world keeps going
Round and round.

Chorus x 2

Wow. Nobody commented on this yet? Maybe cause nobody really knows about it.

This song is beautiful :( Thats all I have to say, just the feeling and emotion of the song gets me through all the bad stuff.

This song reminds me of the myths of Sirens/Mermaids/Selkies, the idea of a man meeting a 'Ocean daughter' and falling in love with her. It's a lovely song I just wish there were more lyrics for the rest of the album.
