Hazel Eyes, I will lead you Lyrics

Heard you're growing strong
Though your tender feet are made of clay
Hazel Eyes, I will lead you
Through the forest, dark and day.

Will a few words break your bones?
My friend, don't let them sway
Heal a few wounds with your song of love
And fly away.

Saw you throwing stones
Though your needy hands are meant to play
Hazel eyes, I'd believe you
Matters not, what you say.

Will a few words break your bones?
My friend, don't let them sway
Heal a few wounds with your song of love
And fly away.

Heard you're growing strong
Though your tender feet are made of clay
Hazel Eyes, I will lead you
Through the forest, dark and day.

this song is really entrancing. her distinct voice adds to the beautiful lyrics.

i take this song as someone seeing how somebody has been doing after awhile. seeing that they're getting on their own two feet, but they would still need them. maybe seeing them as a little naive but loving them for that.

but i also see this as a very sexual song.

whatever it is, it's beautiful.
