She was 13 years old when she wrote this song. Her so-called friends were starting to be mean to her at school. She felt like an outcast.
She's just trying to find her place. She thinks its in country music, but she isn't sure. There's a hidden message in these lyrics when they are typed in the little booklet when you buy the Fearless album. The message is: "Found It" :)

Basically she's saying that she has no idea what she wants for the future, she's still figuring it out. She doesnt know what's going to happen when she takes this path, but she doesnt really mind because she's simply walking.

She relies on herself and nobody else. She could be wrong, and she might make mistakes but that doesnt matter because she's a strong person and life will still continue no matter how many mistakes she makes.

Everyone can relate to this song. I'm a freshman and I have to choose my courses based on what I want to do...I DONT KNOW what I want to do...Which makes choosing courses hard...I'm just going with my hobbies...
