i think its about the two brothers who make up two of the three members of RHD and how they grew up in a household where there father did a lot of drugs and maybe their mother as well and the song is about how they overcame their predisposition to those drugs...im not sure if they really did live in that sort of household but im pretty sure thats what the song is about
Thats probably true...I've read interviews of RHD on JamBase and they talked about how they grew up in Boulder, CO around alot of drugs and when their parents got divorced it messed them up...the crazy part is the band is sober now when they tour...I saw the band come through Iowa City and the guitarist Daniel had his 21st B-Day that night and he wouldn't let me buy him a beer that night...They did an all Led Zep Encore playin Rock'N'Roll, Heartbreaker, and Immigrant Song: and it really sounded fresh cuz they jammed and took those songs to new places...Anyways, this song is beautiful and I love when they play it live...
