Boyscout'n Lyrics

so stop and take it all in slowly
'cause this short glimpse is not the only
chance that you will have to see
all the ways that i can prove myself as worthy
to be the one and only true sure thing
sure thing

I can't believe I lent my hand to help destroy a helpless man
Maybe it's a long shot now, but still I say
Should my soul survive this fall
Then I pray if I pray at all
That I could catch my breath and come away unscathed

i once believed you were my savior
but now you're nothing but a traitor
and still i'll wait for your return
i get the feeling i have waited
a whole lifetime in vain
a lot to lose with nothing to gain

I can't believe I lent my hand to help destroy a helpless man
Maybe it's a long shot now, but still I say
Should my soul survive this fall
Then I pray if I pray at all
That I could catch my breath and come away unscathed

It's

"I can't believe I lent my hand to help destroy a helpless man Maybe it's a long shot now, but still I say Should my soul survive this fall Then I pray if I pray at all That I could catch my breath and come away unscathed."

In this song, I think he's trying to be a god, or just someone with incredible power.

hmmm...

I took this as a song to Dubya. Probably not, but that's who I sing it to when belting it out in the shower.

Evidence was found in the last 2 years that suggest Judas was actually asked my Jesus to appear to be a traitor to him. It was necessary for Jesus to be crucified for everything that resulted to happen.

I think Menomena are savvy to the new info and wrote it accordingly. "i once believed you were my savior but now you're nothing but a traitor and still i'll wait for your return i get the feeling i have waited a whole lifetime in vain a lot to lose with nothing to gain"

I think this means that Judas, throughout his life and subsequent centuries, was known as the traitor and just wants people to know that he was actually Jesus' most trusted friend who sacked up and took the fall.

Bam.

Yes, two fictional characters spoke outside of the realm of literature and people are just beginning to find evidence of it. Or, they're making it up.

Kind of sounds to me as he's describing religion or his savior turning his back on him. Lying to him maybe...?

I think it's about a kid who's life was messed up until he joined the boy scouts which led to him becoming a soldier which led to him killing a helpless man which led to his life being messed up
