Lights, Music, Cameras, Action Lyrics

Everybody's says you must be crazy
When you ever gonna learn
You better stay where you are
Don't reach for the stars
You know you're gonna crash before you burn
But now you know we love the life we're living
Living everybody's dreams
Just look at us now
We're loud and we're proud
So check it out
On your plasma screen

Lights, music, camera, action
Here's another one comin' atcha
You know who's our headline news
With music that will make you move
Lights, music, camera, action
Now we know we got your attention
We're taking that sound overground
Nothing's gonna stop us now

(Are you ready for this?)

Before we're getting to the platinum baby
We'll be playing all the tunes
We'll be shaking that, working that
Oh we're stepping out in Gucci shoes
So now we're heading with the lifestyle, uh
Rewriting all the rules
From London, New York, Tokyo
Here's the word
Come on the girls

Lights, music, camera, action
Here's another one comin' atcha
You know who's our headline news
With music that will make you move
Lights, music, camera, action
Now we know we got your attention
We're taking that sound overground
Nothing's gonna stop us now

Pick vocation, new vibration
Wanna go, time's up
Ready for action (oooh, oh)

Lights, music, camera, action
Here's another one comin' atcha
You know who's our headline news
With music that will make you move
Lights, music, camera, action
Now we know we got your attention
We're taking that sound overground
Nothing's gonna stop us now

Living the life we love (come on now)
Loving the life we're living (are you feeling it)
No matter what you do (come on now)
We're gonna keep coming (yeah)
Living the life we love (yeah)
Loving the life we're living (you know I love it)
Baby

Lights, music, camera, action
(Na, na, na, na baby yeah)

Cover art for Lights, Music, Cameras, Action lyrics by Girls Aloud

The lyrics are obviously about GA's rise to fame and how they proved the people who thought they wouldn't be succesful (probably the media/One True Voice as this song came out after all that) wrong and blah blah blah. Most of it's alright but the production is awful and quite cheesy, especially the middle eight with the DUN DUN DUN! bits in it- they make it sound so dated. You can tell it wasn't produced by Xenomania. We're taking that sound overground- reference to Sound of the Underground, obviously
