with the lyrics and the tune of the song it makes me thing he's walking down a lone, dark path..actually almost reminds me a little bit of radiohead in this song I totally relate to this song because this is how I feel about someone at home (I'm in the military) and I love just the smallest amount of recognition from home, "turn the lights on keep the lights on" it gets pretty hard sometimes being alone and it means a lot when you know there are people back home who think of you and you want them to know the same thing

I think it's supposed to be "walk by the sailor again, just to see what people see". It reminds of that song "The sailor went to sea, sea, sea to see what he could see, see, see.
