thanks for posting these lyrics, but one minor correction:
her brother left a year ago sister one and a half
song's pretty literal, but it's still great!
it is actually "step farther was a mess"
it is a song about my dad and how awesome he it!
i don't think it's "And hear about in his dreams". to me it sounds more like "And he abandoned his dreams".
It's "Sister one and a half"
