We've Got to Keep Running Lyrics
i feel lucky that there were no streetlights
stowaways walking it off block my sight,
and i've been living like, living like this for miles,
but i cant find what i want to find
to see the parachutes abbreviate whats left of the light
heads like mirrors in the rain arent reflecting right
and i've been looking for something, looking for something for miles,
but i cant find what i want to find
as our minds get shorter, the frost gets bolder
and we've got, we've got, we've got to keep running
we grow older then i cant live under plastic tarps that bury the ground
as our minds get shorter, the frost gets bolder,
and we've got, we've got, we've got to keep running
i feel luckly that there were no streetlights
the oceans grow old but never lose their sight
we keep looking for something in the night
but i cant find what i want to find
Being bummed out, but trying to find motivation or inspiration to do something
pretty simple
I'm not exactly sure what this one is all about but I don't agree with ziffon. it's more along the lines of he doesn't like where he's going in life.
i think this has everything to do with motivation. the idea of walking there was better than walking home kinda hits this home. the idea, that start, the creative inspiration, made the process worth pursuing. in the end, was what motivated them worth it? he keeps searching="ive been looking for something like this for miles."
when the general consensus is to climb corporate ladder and gain larger paychecks="wallets" and build new things that cover ground that could be used to do other things, like leave it alone to be found untouched.
in the end, everyone is looking for something but, sadly, we are stumbling around, blindly, in the dark. and well, needless to say, he can't fine what he wants to find. its all "made up"
