this is an amazing song. the beat hit me when the first 5 seconds of its melody struck my ear. The lyrics are fused so well in the song that it makes it that much better every time i listen to it.
its quite a self-explanatory song, but pay attention to why he wants to put her in a song. So he can lock her essence in that song so whenever she isnt around, he can sing the song to give him that comfort of just her being around.
He pretty much admits that he cannot commit to a girl, even though this girl made him happy, he could possibly cherish her. So, by writing her in a song, he has a way of always holding her close to him.

i think this song is amazing:) its about jason writing a song about a girl he truly cares about. when she is away he misses her all the time.. so when she is gone he writes a song and everytime he hears it he has her with him.
