I was wondering if anyone else noticed the parallel to "Get Together" with the fear, and love, and song we're singing. I think this song is better viewed from the context of that song.

I downloaded it using an internet program and converted it with another program and now I have it on my computer. I don't like the instrument at 2:15, but in this version it is softened and prettier.
My all-time favorite song. This is the song that I can listen to 15 times in a row and love it every single time... (btw, notice my username :]) I agree that the version from the Current is the best. I have "connections" so this is the version I have from the CD.
I'm not really a huge Cloud Cult fan... but this song is so incredible.
Based off of said "connections", I learned that this is about his daughter having cancer, which makes the song that much more touching and beautiful.

Actually its not about his daughter having cancer since Craig Minowa never had a daughter (or not yet, his wife is pregnant at the moment I don't know if its a boy or girl?). He had a son, Kaidin, who tragically died at 2 years old in 2002. This song is most likely about the fact that he and his wife separated for a time in their grief over the loss of Kaidin, and then reunited and got back together.
Absolutely beautiful song. Saw it live and I was just blown away. One of the many cloud cult songs I can listen to over and over and still feel the emotion in his voice.
This song is amazing, but besides that, does anyone think Cloud Cult sort of sounds like Band of Horses, just a little.
