I think of white witches when I hear this song. There is something behind these lyrics like that make it powerful/magical like Clannad's celtic lyrics.
I think that this song might be (somewhat) linked to the Magic: The Gathering card game.
This song also gives me the feel of some other realm or world (which could be presented with the cards, I suppose).
I love this song, it's amazing. It always reminds me of Lord of the Rings when the followship is first form at Rivendale...the courus anyway.

I'm gonna go a wild direction on interpretation. It seems to me to be about the "End of Days" (Apocalypse, Ragnarok, etc.). The intention of these ideas are not "The End of the World" but of the clearing away of the old and corrupt (the first verse) so that a new and better world can come into existence and the struggle it takes to get there (second verse)

im not too sure. I think is about Inis Mona, and how it’s was an gathering of Druids from all over but with angels meaning like they brought the message to the druids for the gathering. A bit of Christianly in there but remember Christianity became about before Celts which makes sense if you think about it, or it could mean all the elders in the world gathering too talk about the problems in the world and what to do about them. The next paragraph is saying about the world, like that’s all we hear murders, war, corruption and suchlike, the cat stuck up the tree (lol I kid) 'But still the message is the same' which is true.
