And I know when time
Will pass by slow
Without my heart
What can I do
You're in the halls
The bell gives way to a larger swell
Without my heart
What can I do, oh
Wroclai
And we grow fat
On the charms of our idle dreary days
Seen the shadows grow
See an ominous display
With no alarm
Could we say we'd have expected this way
(under stars?) have died
Give incent to play
Wroclai
Will pass by slow
Without my heart
What can I do
You're in the halls
The bell gives way to a larger swell
Without my heart
What can I do, oh
Wroclai
And we grow fat
On the charms of our idle dreary days
Seen the shadows grow
See an ominous display
With no alarm
Could we say we'd have expected this way
(under stars?) have died
Give incent to play
Wroclai

beirutiful
beirut=love
most definitely.
there's something about this song that pulls on my heart strings and makes me want to be in love. this song is so beautiful.
hah this song reminds me of Yann Tiersen's work on Amelie with the accordian
The drum track half way through is the shit.
Haha I've probably listened to this song more times than any other song in a long time.
Here are the lyrics that I can make out:
And I know when time will pass by slow Without my heart what can I do... In the halls a bell gives way to a larger swell Without my heart what can I do...
Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai
And we grow fat on the charms of our idle dreary days Seen the shadows grow, See an ominous display With no alarm, couldn't say we had expected this that way Under stars and death, pennance and decay.
Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai Mount Wroclai
npknhdfrvr, i totally agree about the accordian and i definitely hear winter in the first line. for me, it sounds like the meaning has something to do with having nothing else to give meaning to your life without your heart/love/emotion? any or all of the above.
beautiful
love this song...but i think he actually says "mount" before the wroclai each time... you can hear the "m" sound
It's definitely "Mount Wronclai" in the chorus. Such a beautiful, melancholic song!
