It's the most Damien Rice-ey of all their songs. I love the darkness and triumph of it all... I'm not a goth though, I swear! I really love it. It kind of reminds me of Cold Water from DR's first album. As songs, they're not very alike, but they're similar in genre, and the use of piano and strings and stuff. Just my two-cents.
I'm biased at the moment, but I think it has to do with problems in a relationship. Sure, they've both had problems committing, but finally, they've figured it out...they have the chance and they're going for it.
This song is about rising above all of the little gripes and problems and stresses and strains in a relationship and realising that you have something special. And something that you both feel was meant to be.
