Scars and Stripes Lyrics
Glass man strides over skulls
Ruins from the might
[indistinct mumbling]
Bones trampled under foot
Plots the counter strike
[No thanks for the gift
I blow back your shit
More violation and
I give you Scars and Stripes 2x]
Flesh stitched onto a frame
Makes the perfect suit
[indistinct mumbling]
Bomb strapped on Johnny's Back
Changes points of view
[CHORUS 2x]
[indistinct mumbling]
Blood in the sand
The roaches lay dead in the sand
The way in the sand is pathed with blood
I lied to you cause they told me too
[CHORUS 3x]
Ruins from the might
[indistinct mumbling]
Bones trampled under foot
Plots the counter strike
I blow back your shit
More violation and
I give you Scars and Stripes 2x]
Makes the perfect suit
[indistinct mumbling]
Bomb strapped on Johnny's Back
Changes points of view
Blood in the sand
The roaches lay dead in the sand
The way in the sand is pathed with blood
I lied to you cause they told me too

This song seems to be about patriotism. Also maybe terrorism just to counter the patriotism. The line scars and stripes is obviously refering to america. i blow back you shit maybe means i dont accept your lies. and im assuming teh line Bomb strapped on johnnys back changes points of view is about fear used to control.
I think the lines "More Violation and I give you Scars And Stripes" is maybe like, Give the country shit and we call over our Ally America to interfere and stuff.
Ugh, there was more to my comment! Um... Oh yes, the blood and roaches in the sand could be about the war in Iraq and those countries.
Iraq has sand People are dying there Blood and sand Perfecto of senso Right?
Maybe it is an indictment against American culture. I would venture to say that scars and stripes is a definite reference to America. The last lines (I lied to you cause they told me to) seems to through off both of y'alls analysis. I think, maybe, it could be an anti-war song. The bomb strapped to johnny's back line could reference how with more and more death, america's view of the war is changing, and how the more war occurs, the more the general populace is scarred and violated, the more they rebel against the authorities.
It sounds like war and violence in the world, like in places like Iraq and other such war strewn countries.
In the background it says "blood for oil"(not sure if anyone else hears it). That sums it up. Its about America starting wars because they want what they can't have.
