"Oh my god, yes Oh my god, no" saying that someone has the power to control what you think. which is true!

"So they take this moral stand Safe to choose the leading brand Keep your colors white, keep your colors white And the rest can fade Keep your smiles bright, keep your smiles bright And you'll make it" sort of an idealistic future, if the media stops corrupting people's minds. to "keep your colors white" should basically mean to keep you pure, but that 'you' is no one in particular but rather the public.
