The band said this song was about driving all night just to be with the one you love. These are such beautiful lyrics, and something I can totally relate to.

I think the last four lines are talking about how he can only stay for a little while, but there's no sense in worrying about what to do to fill the time. It doesn't matter as long as you're together.
