Jordanna Lyrics

Come into vision
And last
Same psalm mother sung
Drink from your flask
And ask
If anyone has a favorite

And we’ll sing
We sing alone at the top of our lungs
Voices ring
Escape outside the cathedral

I don’t care
What you play
But just do it in your old fashion way
Slaping your knee
As I said
This one makes up for the city

And we’ll sing
Sing alone at the top of our lungs
Voices ring
Escape outside the cathedral

Some folks
Just don’t give a damn
Whether they’re coming or going
Hey man
Take a stand
When you’re up
Put yourself back in place
And coming when you hear the ovations
Stations
fill up
As we leavers
Find the receivers
Stealing from the beggars wife
Here we go
I don’t know
If there’s any point to it all
But I sure love hearing your voice

Jordanna
Jordanna
Jordaaaannnnaaaaaa

Jordanna!
Jordanna!
Jordannnnnaaaaa!

(Ohohoh...)

Some folks
Just don’t give a damn
Whether they’re coming or going
Hey man
Take a stand
When you’re up
Put yourself back in place
And coming when you hear the ovations
Stations
fill up
As we leavers
Find the receivers
Stealing from the beggars wife
Here we go
I don’t know
If there’s any point to it all
But I sure love hearing your voice

This song is incredible, but I think the lyrics are actually:

Come into vision At last Sing us all another song Drink from your flask And ask If anyone here has a favorite

I love this whole album, I wish more of the lyrics were around.

I think this song uses singing as a metaphor for participating in the world around you ("living"), and the ovations are the satisfactions you can derive from that. There's a lot more to this song that I don't really get at this point.
