I think this song talks about God. I know, it's weird because the movie is not at all about that, but it fits! It's about how God shows us the Truth through his Love, and how it makes us grow up and stop caring about futile things. The lyric is exactly what I feel :)
To me when I listen to this song, I think of God too. I really do, and it fits so well. 'I'd believe in anything were it not for you' speaks so true to me, I don't know where I'd be right now if I didn't know Jesus. I would have believed in any lie, but He is my solid ground :)
