I am an illusion, a mirage of sorts
A collection of memories scattered on your floor
That you're sifting through slowly, tearing up the pictures.
How quickly you forgot
How pathetic I remember
Your birthday, your birthmarks
Our first date and dance
Our first kiss, the boardwalk walking
