Tuesday Moon Lyrics
Speaker 1: I was off in a forest somewhere, I don't know where, but somewhere, and I was sitting on top of this huge tree, and I don't know how I got there. Like that tree way over there, that's just this little tiny twaint, and I was just sitting on it and I was afraid to move, and I moved and the tree just bent with me and that was weird
Speaker 2: That's cool
Your love is like a building
Pushing up towards the sky
I just want to climb your tower
To your dress like apple pie
Oh, I love you on a Tuesday
Oh, I love you on a Tuesday moon
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
I am changing colors daily
Jumping to my postbox
While everything's exploding, baby
In your dress I'll sleep a while
Oh, it's flying toward some Tuesday
Oh, it's flying toward some Tuesday moon
Into the air like a balloon
She's taking scissors to her wing
It's shrinking diesel through my room
With no arms and legs, can you dig?
Can you dig it?
Your love is like a drunken stupor
Falling into push paper holes
Into my insides I scoop her
Burning up her real time flows
Oh, I love you on a Tuesday
Oh, I love you on a Tuesday moon
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
Pushing up towards the sky
I just want to climb your tower
To your dress like apple pie
Oh, I love you on a Tuesday moon
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
Jumping to my postbox
While everything's exploding, baby
In your dress I'll sleep a while
Oh, it's flying toward some Tuesday moon
Into the air like a balloon
It's shrinking diesel through my room
With no arms and legs, can you dig?
Can you dig it?
Falling into push paper holes
Into my insides I scoop her
Burning up her real time flows
Oh, I love you on a Tuesday moon
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
Let's dribble hand on my perfume
Let's dribble hand on my perfume

This song has no comments!? This is one of my favorite songs from Everything Is (or Hype City Soundtrack, whichever you prefer).
It sounds to me like this song is about a (self-)destructive love affair, perhaps with Tuesday being their anniversary? That being said, I don't think in this case that its being destructive is necessarily a bad thing, just a rolling, crashing, jumping kind of destructive where they're both trying to consume so much of eachother. The kind where their love is new and feels (or is) like they're tripping on something (e.g. "...Your love is like a drunken stupor...").
Also, the dialogue in the beginning seems like a retelling of a dream (or possibly a trip, though I'm of the opinion that not all great songs have something to do with drugs).
I have a version of this song that was never released called I love you on a Tuesday. Its probably the most rockingest song Jeff ever did
I also have that version of the song. Freakin' incredible, I suggest everyone try to hunt it down.
i
really, only four comments??
i believe speaker one is robert schneider. and speaker two is jeff. i think. that's how it sounds to me, anyway, as speaker one speaks with the same vigor and enthusiasm as i always hear when i hear robert speak.
but this song is so ridiculously energetic and pogo-inducing, it's amazing. i interpret it as being nothing more than a love song. a really up tempo love song. that makes you jump around until your heart stops beating. it's that kind of love. and that kind of song. okay.
