Yikes--All the negative comments about this song made me sign up instead of just lurking. RE: Liam v Noel on this song, YOUTUBE has Liam on lead and it's good in it's own right, but I actually prefer Noel's version slightly. Noel v Liam in general is kind of like Christine McVie v Stevie Nicks. Clearly Mcvie/Noel have the technically "better" voices, can hit higher registers, hold notes longer, etc. BUT Nicks/Liam have an edge to their deliver that makes them often more memorable.
This song is about living big, fast and hard and enjoying it depsite it's relative danger/unhealthy nature. In that regard and in it's tempo it reminds me of BE HERE NOW, an awesome and underated album.
I agree. My life is about to change big very soon and I do believe the song is about taking one day at a time and just enjoying every moment of every day. When we die there would be nothing worse than dying with regrets. I don't want any. And I don't plan on being "old" anytime soon. Great song. Great band.

A few months on from this songs release as a single and I still reckon this song is absolutely rocking.
This song has sort of had a reverse effect on me because its one of those ones which i have learned to love and appreciate more over time rather than getting tired of listening to it.
A lot of people were questioning why liam didnt sing this song (including myself). But after Liam version was leaked I think its fair to say that this is noels song.
